All staff and volunteers are DBS checked, we have Public Liability insurance and we hold up to date Paediatric first aid certificates.

Lynn Hammel-Randall Founding Director/ Cafe Manager/Facilitator.

Lynn has over 19 years worth of experience working with babies and children covering a vast amount of settings including hospital, in homes, community, and nursery settings. Lynn is qualified in Early Years and has a passion to help children reach their potential through play in the early years of life. Lynn has led playgroups, ran activities for disabled children as well as running a children’s party business. Lynn is very passionate about supporting new mother’s and trying to reduce social isolation a leading cause in postnatal illness, having experienced postnatal illness twice herself she wanted to create a safe place for new mothers and their families.  Lynn has five children of her own.

Mark Hammel-Randall Director/Cafe Manager.

Mark manages the day to day running of the cafe. Mark has 1st hand experience of Postnatal illness seeing wife Lynn experience it twice and after almost losing their 4th baby he too experienced mental illness. Mark is passionate about supporting the family unit and is always happy to chat and engage with parents about their early parenting journey’s. Mark has five children and keeps our founding director Lynn functioning by assisting with the day to day running of the organisation.

Debbie Jackson Play Worker/Cafe Assistant.

Debbie works the afternoon shifts in the cafe where you will find her happy to engage with both children and parents/carers. Promoting play and always happy to chat with and listen to parents/carers. Debbie had visited the cafe with her baby weekly since it opened and she loved the ethos so much she joined the team having a complete career change. Debbie has has two children of her own.

Susan Bradley Play Worker/Cafe Assistant.

Susan works the morning shifts in the cafe where you will find her happy to engage with both children and parents/carers. Promoting play and always happy to chat with and listen to parents/carers. Susan has over 25 years of experience working with babies and children as a qualified early years practitioner. Susan has one child of her own.
